Usually you see pictures of gods with halos behind them. Obviously the halos are representative of wisdom and knowledge, and not that there’s a lamp behind them. However, the Nun lamp is a little literal in that sense. Designed to look like a nun leaning forward in prayer, the lamp literally has a light for a halo, completing the visual metaphor, if you will. I love it!
